Membership Information

Who can be a ECA Member?

We welcome applications from individuals interested in, working within, or in partnership with colleagues in the anatomical sciences.

This is not limited and may include early career professionals or students working or studying within medicine, dentistry, forensics, histology, anatomy, technical services, and many other related fields.

Those who do not consider themselves early career but are supportive of early career anatomists are also welcome to become members to engage with and support the community.

Membership Details

As a paid member of Early Career Anatomists, you are entitled to put down 'ECA Member' on your CV, social pages, work page etc.

There are no grades of membership, all members are ordinary members of ECA.

An ECA membership will last for 1 year from the date that it was purchased.

  • Shortly before your membership expires, we will contact you to remind you to renew.
  • If you purchase before renewal, the new membership will begin the date your old one expires.
  • If you choose not to renew, access to ECA benefits will be removed until a new membership is purchased.
  • Please keep note of your order number when you purchased your membership, as this will be used to identify you as a member.

As an ECA Member, please remember you are a representative of our society and those involved, so your conduct both in-person and online should not bring yourself, others, or ECA into disrepute.

As per our Terms and Conditions:

  • "Users of ECA agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards others. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behaviour towards fellow users, staff, or affiliates of ECA will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of access to ECA."

All proceeds from the ECA membership will go towards member related resources and activites.

Accessing Members Area

In order to access our Members Area, you will have to have an account (see below) and an active membership.

  • Please make sure the email you signed up with and purchased your membership with is the same as this makes it easier for us to tie your membership to your account.
