Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Early Career Anatomists ("ECA"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of ECA and any purchases made through it. By accessing or using ECA, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any purchase or account.

1. Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or using ECA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access ECA or make any purchases through it.
2. Products and Services: ECA offers memberships, conference tickets, and merchandise for sale to early career anatomists and individuals interested in the field of anatomy.
3. Purchases: By making a purchase through ECA, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself as required by the purchase process. You also agree to maintain the security of your account credentials and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Membership: ECA offers an optional yearly membership program. Members receive exclusive benefits as determined by Early Career Anatomists Committee. Membership fees are non-refundable.
5. Payment: Payment for purchases made through ECA must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept payment via credit/debit card or other payment methods as indicated on ECA's website.
6. Physical Item Shipping: For physical item purchases, we will make every effort to ship your order in a timely manner. However, shipping times may vary depending on your location and other factors beyond our control. We are not responsible for any delays or other issues caused by third-party shipping carriers.
7. Online Item Shipping: For physical item purchases, all online purchases will be automatically sent to the email address entered during the payment process. ECA holds no liability for the mis-entering of email addresses and contact information and will correct this when alerted by the consumer, where possible.
8. Returns and Refunds: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund within 14 days of the purchase date, provided that the product, if physical, is returned in its original condition and packaging. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. For online item purchases, the item must be returned unused and not shared with any other party. 9. Conduct Towards Others: Users of ECA agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards others. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behaviour towards fellow users, staff, or affiliates of ECA will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of access to ECA. Please see our Code of Conduct for further information.
10. Intellectual Property: All content and materials available on ECA, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of Early Career Anatomists or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
11. Privacy and Cookies: Our Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information provided by users of ECA. By using ECA, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. ECA also uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience. By using ECA, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with our website hosts’ Cookie Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Early Career Anatomists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of ECA, or any products purchased through it.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
14. Changes to Terms: Early Career Anatomists reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. By continuing to access or use ECA after such changes, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
15. Website Use Guidelines: Users of ECA agree to use the website in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as these Terms & Conditions. Any unauthorised use of ECA, including but not limited to hacking, scraping, or other unauthorised access, is strictly prohibited.
